Can a HyCoSy improve fertility?

A HyCoSy is primarily a diagnostic test used to check whether the fallopian tubes are open and functioning normally. However, some studies have shown that natural conception rates can increase slightly in the months following the procedure. This may be because the contrast fluid used during the scan helps to gently flush the fallopian tubes, clearing minor debris or mucus and improving their openness.
