Can a rhinoplasty fix a deviated septum?

A rhinoplasty cannot correct a deviated septum on its own.

Rhinoplasty is a cosmetic procedure that alters the shape and size of the nose. Septoplasty, on the other hand, is designed to fix a deviated septum which can often cause nasal obstruction or breathing difficulty. This procedure involves repositioning or removing cartilage and bone from between the nostrils to correct misalignment and restore breathing.

Rhinoplasty can be combined with a septoplasty. The combination of the two procedures is called septorhinoplasty which enhances looks and breathing at the same time.
