Can mole mapping detect every skin cancer?

While mole mapping greatly improves early detection by comparing changes over time, it isn’t perfect. Some lesions may develop rapidly between mapping sessions, so any new or changing spot, including those outside the mapped moles, should be evaluated immediately.
