Is scar revision treatment painful?
Most scar revision treatments are carried out under local anaesthetic, so you shouldn’t feel any pain during the procedure itself.
After your scar revision treatment, you may feel some discomfort for the first few days. Your consultant will give you advice on how to manage this and prescribe pain medication if needed.
