Is there anything I can do to help with recovery?
Yes – your consultant will advise you on lifestyle approaches you can take, to help your body heal and your heart recover. These include:
Avoiding strenuous exercise, usually for at least 3 months.
Resting and sleeping more than you might normally.
Living healthily – stopping smoking, eating well, and avoiding alcohol and caffeine.
