When can I return to normal activities after scar revision surgery?
Your consultant will advise you when you can return to normal activities after your scar revision surgery. Increase your activity level gradually and stop if you have pain.
In general, you can expect to return to a sedentary job around 1 to 2 weeks after surgery. Avoid strenuous activity for at least 3 weeks and heavy lifting for around 6 weeks.
