When should I see a doctor about my rash?

Make an appointment with a dermatologist if your rash:

• is getting worse or hasn’t improved within a week

• is circular and looks like a bullseye 

• is purple 

• shows signs of infection, such as pain, swelling, yellow or green discharge, warmth, or red streaks

• develops in the folds of your skin 

• is accompanied by joint pain
