About Dincer Aktuerk
Mr Aktuerk is the Clinical Lead for Minimally Invasive and Robotic Cardiac Surgery Barts Heart Centre in London, the largest cardiac specialist centre in the UK.
Mr Aktuerk is a specialist in minimally invasive (“keyhole”) heart surgery and is one of only two surgeons in the UK, and the only in London, to offer Robotic valve and coronary bypass surgery.
These advanced surgical techniques involves accessing the heart through a keyhole incision rather than conventional open-heart surgery and brings patients from across the globe to benefit from his expertise. This results in a faster recovery time, less post-operative pain, and reduced scarring
Mr Aktuerk works in close collaboration with a team of world-renowned Cardiologists and Cardiac Electrophysiologists across London and the UK providing seamless access to best quality care that's tailored specifically for you.

It’s helpful if you can bring the results of any previous investigations with you, as well as a list of your current medications. Come with a comfortably full bladder so you can provide a urine sample if requested.
