About Bhav Patel
Mr Bhav Patel is a multi-award-winning consultant ENT surgeon with specialist expertise in ear surgery, hearing loss, balance disorders, and sinus disease. He is nationally recognised for his innovative use of minimally invasive techniques, including endoscopic ear surgery and awake procedures under local anaesthetic with sedation, which allow patients to be active participants in their care.
Mr Patel has also developed extensive experience in stapes surgery for otosclerosis, performing a high volume of cases with excellent outcomes. His work in this area has been featured by the BBC, where his patient-centred awake approach to stapes surgery was highlighted.
He graduated from Imperial College London with MBBS (Hons), earning distinction in Medical Sciences, alongside a first-class Honours degree in Healthcare Management from Imperial College Business School. He became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons within a year of graduating, one of the youngest surgeons in the country at the time. He completed his higher surgical training across leading London centres including Charing Cross Hospital, the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital, the Royal Marsden Hospital, and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, with further international experience in Vienna, France, Italy, and Nepal.
Mr Patel has received over 20 awards, including the Royal Society of Medicine’s Gold Medal for the highest national performance in the FRCS (ORL-HNS) examination, a NICE scholarship, and the 2024 LNWH Surgery Award for Outstanding Surgical Care. He has also been honoured with the IWGC Excellence Award for three consecutive years for delivering consistently outstanding patient experiences.
In addition to his clinical work, Mr Patel is a passionate educator. He holds a Masters with Distinction in Surgical Education, is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and runs two global YouTube channels supporting the training of ENT surgeons worldwide.

We aim to offer appointments as quickly as possible, and many services have same-day or next-day availability. Waiting times vary depending on the appointment type, specialty, and consultant availability, but our team will always offer the earliest suitable appointment.
Yes. You can arrange an appointment for a family member, or someone you care for, just let us know when you get in touch. We’ll need their details and consent to complete the booking, unless you're their legal guardian or have power of attorney.
Your first consultation includes a detailed discussion of your symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle factors, followed by a thorough examination. It’s helpful if you can bring the results of any previous investigations with you, as well as a list of your current medications. Come with a comfortably full bladder so you can provide a urine sample if requested.
