About Robert Nash

Mr Robert Nash is a Consultant specialising in conditions of the ear, nose and throat (ENT). He has a particular interest in ear issues, and children’s ENT issues. He is a Consultant Otologist and ENT Surgeon at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

He also holds honorary posts at the Royal National ENT Hospital and University College London, where he conducts research into hearing loss. His medical training was at Oxford University, and he undertook Higher Surgical Training in North London comprehensively covering ENT in adults and children at hospitals including the Royal National ENT Hospital, Imperial Healthcare and University College Hospital.

He has a higher fellowship from Great Ormond Street Hospital, which he combined with additional experience at the Royal National ENT Hospital. He has travelled widely, and completed observerships in USA (Boston), Italy, France and India. He has been awarded numerous fellowships and prizes for academic work, ear surgery and patient care. He has completed additional degrees in physiology at Oxford University, and Medical Ethics & Law at King’s College London.

Your first consultation includes a detailed discussion of your symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle factors, followed by a thorough examination. It’s helpful if you can bring the results of any previous investigations with you, as well as a list of your current medications. Come with a comfortably full bladder so you can provide a urine sample if requested.
