About Saidi Mohiddin

Professor Sam Mohiddin trained in Edinburgh, in the USA at the National Institutes of Health, and in London. The heart muscle diseases he manages include inherited (cardiomyopathy) and inflammatory (myocarditis) disorders.

Sam was first appointed as a consultant cardiologist in 2010 and is also an Honorary Professor at the Barts Heart Centre. He was lead author of the UK national training curriculum for inherited cardiac conditions and has an active role in sub-specialty education. Sam led the clinical service at Barts Heart Centre for inherited cardiovascular conditions between 2015-2020.

Your first consultation includes a detailed discussion of your symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle factors, followed by a thorough examination. It’s helpful if you can bring the results of any previous investigations with you, as well as a list of your current medications. Come with a comfortably full bladder so you can provide a urine sample if requested.
