Preparing for Your Visit
Yes. You’ll receive an electronic registration form before your first appointment. Please complete this in advance if you can, or arrive 10 minutes early to allow time to fill it in before your consultation.
You’ll also receive an email with full pre-appointment instructions once your visit is confirmed. If you’re unsure about anything, please contact the centre for guidance.
If you need to bring anything specific, it will be clearly outlined in your appointment email. All our centres offer hot drinks and refreshments in the waiting areas for your comfort.
Yes. If you’d like a chaperone to be present during your appointment, please let your centre know before your appointment, and they’ll be happy to arrange this for you. You’re also welcome to bring a partner, friend, or family member with you for your visit. There may be some cases where the clinical setting requires your chaperone to wait in the waiting area for part of your visit, for example, if you’re having imaging tests. Your centre will let you know in advance if this is the case.
If you plan to bring a child or dependent to your appointment, please note that this may not be suitable for all visits.
Childcare is not available within our centres, so any child or dependant must remain with you and be supervised by you for the full duration of your appointment. For some appointments, such as MRI scans or procedures, this will not be possible.
If you arrive with a child or dependent you are unable to supervise throughout your appointment, we may need to reschedule your visit. If you are unsure, please contact the centre in advance for advice.
Any preparation needed will be clearly explained in your appointment email. If you’re unsure about anything, please contact your centre for guidance.
