About Antoni Sergot

Dr Antoni Sergot is a consultant radiologist specialising in imaging for gastrointestinal and abdominal pathology at Welbeck. In 2007 he qualified in medicine from Imperial College, London where he was awarded colours for outstanding contribution. He completed radiology training at Imperial followed by a fellowship in gastrointestinal imaging at St Mark’s Hospital, London. In 2015 He was appointed as consultant radiologist to Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals in Surrey. He was clinical lead for GI radiology, setting up the CT colonography and pelvic floor imaging services. He was subsequently appointed as a consultant gastrointestinal and abdominal radiologist to Imperial College in 2020.

He is a core member of several GI MDTs including upper GI, colorectal, inflammatory bowel disease and pelvic floor.

Dr Sergot is a registered practitioner with the UK bowel cancer screening programme and sits on the clinical advisory board for the National CT Colonography Training and Accreditation Programme.

He is actively involved in GI radiology research, both locally and nationally as well as radiology education, regularly giving lectures and teaching on courses for trainee radiologists preparing for the FRCR examination.
