Dr Carole Ridge is a Consultant Radiologist at Welbeck Imaging & Diagnostics, focussing on Cardiothoracic Radiology.

Dr Ridge is a Consultant Radiologist at the Royal Brompton Hospital where she specialises in cardiothoracic imaging and lung tumour diagnosis and treatment.

She has research interests in cardiac and pulmonary embolism imaging and lung cancer diagnosis and treatment. Additionally, Dr Ridge has contributed considerably to a number of peer-reviewed publications, review articles, books and case reports.

Personal Biography

Dr Ridge has completed fellowships in interventional oncology and MRI-predominant body imaging at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre and cardiothoracic imaging at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre in New York and Boston.

Since 2009, she has held numerous academic appointments in America, the UK and Ireland including associate professor, lecturer, mentor and tutor positions at UCD School of Medicine and Health Science, Harvard Medical School, Weill Cornell Medical Center, and most recently Imperial College. Dr Ridge has contributed to a great extent to numerous publications and is the radiology editor of Lung Cancer journal.

In July 2017, Dr Ridge was appointed as a Consultant Radiologist in the Royal Brompton Hospital, London.
