About Edward Seaton
Dr Seaton qualified from the University of Oxford in 1996. He trained as a Dermatologist in London at Imperial College and University College and has been a GMC-Certified Dermatologist since 2005. He completed a DM degree in 2006 at Imperial College investigating laser treatment of acne. He was a Consultant Dermatologist at Royal Free London for twelve years and was Clinical Lead for seven years. He established the first Mohs Micrographic Surgical unit in north London at the Royal Free in 2008.
Dr Seaton undertakes general dermatology clinics for all conditions in people from the age of 12 and above. He has a particular interest in the treatment of acne, rosacea, skin cancer. He has expertise in skin surgery and laser therapy including in Mohs surgeryfor skin cancer.
Dr Seaton is one of the few dermatologists in the UK trained in Mohs Surgery, a dermatologist provided, scar-minimising surgical technique for basal cell carcinoma, the commonest type of skin cancer, which has the highest cure rate of any treatment.
