About Hélène Menagé
Very well established in UK dermatology she qualified from Guys’ with an intercalated BSc in Psychology. In 1985. She had substantial general medical training including at the Hammersmith and Brompton Hospitals, St Luc Brussels, Guys’ and the St Thomas’ medical register rotation. She completed specialist training in Dermatology at St John’s Institute, with research in Photodermatology. In 1997 she was appointed Consultant to Lewisham Hospital and in Photodermatology at St John’s Institute, Guys and St Thomas’ , more recently practicing fully in the private sector.
Dr Menagé has a wealth of experience and a wide range of dermatology interests. She has strong involvement in teaching of colleagues and in dermatology professional organisations and contributed to guidelines and to public information work. She is former President of the Dermatology Section of the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) of the St Johns Dermatological Society, former secretary/treasurer of the British Photodermatology Group and former Senior Examiner for the MSc in Clinical Dermatology. She is a former trustee of the Royal Society of Medicine.
She has published extensively including academic papers, book chapters and case reports
Dr Menagé was chosen by medical colleagues to be featured in the Tatler 2026 Doctors Guide.
