Dr Bhargava completed a dedicated Mohs and Advanced Surgery Fellowship and leads the skin cancer and dermatologic surgery service at the Royal London Hospital. A hair and scalp consultation with Dr Bhargava involves a detailed discussion of your symptoms and medical history, followed by an examination of your hair and scalp and dermoscopy where appropriate. Blood tests or other investigations may also be recommended to help identify causes of hair loss or thinning such as alopecia areata, female or male pattern hair loss, or scarring alopecia. Dr Bhargava offers scar treatment and revision using a range of techniques including laser therapy, intense pulsed light, and minor surgical procedures, depending on the type and severity of scarring. He assesses each patient individually to determine whether ablative or non-ablative laser, surgical revision, or a combination approach will deliver the best cosmetic outcome. His dual expertise in both dermatology and dermatologic surgery means he can manage the full treatment pathway from diagnosis to procedural correction.

Dr Bhargava performs thorough mole checks using dermoscopy, a specialist magnification technique that reveals structures beneath the skin surface not visible to the naked eye.
