
About Sandy McBride
Dr Sandy McBride is a highly experienced Consultant Dermatologist with expertise in managing a wide range of skin conditions. She has a particular interest in psoriasis and other inflammatory skin conditions as well as eczema, acne, rosacea, mole checks and hair loss. She has been a Consultant Dermatologist at the Royal Free Hospital for over 20 years where she leads the multidisciplinary psoriasis and biologics services and inpatient dermatology service. She set up one of the first integrated psychology and dermatology services in the UK and researches and lectures nationally and internationally on the psychological impact of living with a skin condition. She has a patient-centred, holistic approach to providing care for her patients.

Your first consultation includes a detailed discussion of your symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle factors, followed by a thorough examination. It’s helpful if you can bring the results of any previous investigations with you, as well as a list of your current medications. Come with a comfortably full bladder so you can provide a urine sample if requested.
