About Manar Malki
Having completed his Bachelor of Medicine and surgery degree at the University of Jordan in 2006, Manar Malki completed his specialist urological training in the East Midlands. In his last year of training, Manar completed the Stone fellowship at Nottingham University Hospitals. This was followed by a dedicated robotic and laparoscopic renal cancer fellowship at the Frimley Renal Cancer Centre for 16 months. In 2019, Manar joined Frimley Park Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as a Consultant Urological Surgeon.
In addition to general urological problems, Manar provides treatment for patients with inguino-scrotal problems, benign prostate problems, and diagnostic cancer investigations. His sub-specialist interests are in the upper urinary tract (kidney and ureter) cancer and benign conditions (PUJO, renal cysts), using both robotic and laparoscopic surgery, and the management of patients with stone disease.
To date, Manar has performed over 300 robotic and laparoscopic kidney operations (including partial nephrectomy, radical nephrectomy, nephroureterectomy and pyeloplasty), 350 ureteroscopies, and carried out over 60 mini-PCNLs in both his NHS and private practice. His surgical and cancer outcomes are regularly audited against nationally published data.
Outside of his NHS and private practice, Manar regularly attends and presents at international and national urological conferences. He has a number of publications in peer-reviewed journals and is a principal investigator on renal cancer clinical trials at Frimley Renal Cancer Centre.

Frequently asked questions
Yes, but only for certain services. Some consultations, assessments, and treatments can be booked directly, while others require a GP or specialist referral. Please check the relevant service page for guidance, and contact the centre if you’re unsure.
We aim to offer appointments as quickly as possible, and many services have same-day or next-day availability. Waiting times vary depending on the appointment type, specialty, and consultant availability, but our team will always offer the earliest suitable appointment.
Yes. You can arrange an appointment for a family member, or someone you care for, just let us know when you get in touch. We’ll need their details and consent to complete the booking, unless you're their legal guardian or have power of attorney.
Your first consultation includes a detailed discussion of your symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle factors, followed by a thorough examination. It’s helpful if you can bring the results of any previous investigations with you, as well as a list of your current medications. Come with a comfortably full bladder so you can provide a urine sample if requested.
