
About Pasha Normahani
Mr Pasha Normahani is a consultant vascular surgeon at Welbeck Heart Health, and also holds NHS consultant posts at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. He qualified from Imperial College School of Medicine in 2012 and completed his postgraduate surgical training in London as a prestigious NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow and NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer.
Mr Normahani specialises in the assessment and treatment of venous disease and runs a high-volume practice, with expertise in modern, minimally invasive endovenous treatments for varicose veins. He offers comprehensive management including endovenous laser ablation, ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy, and phlebectomy.
In his NHS practice, Mr Normahani manages the full spectrum of emergency and elective arterial and venous conditions, from early-stage vascular disease to complex limb-threatening pathology. He has a strong interest in the management of diabetic and vascular lower-limb wounds, with a particular focus on modern, evidence-based limb-preservation strategies and multidisciplinary team care.
Alongside his clinical work, Mr Normahani is actively involved in research, innovation, and service development. He has secured almost £4 million in competitive research funding as a lead or co-applicant and is currently involved in multiple national NIHR-funded clinical trials. He is widely published in high impact peer-reviewed journals and presents at national and international meetings. His academic interests focus on improving care for people with peripheral arterial disease and diabetic foot disease, and on developing novel technologies to support earlier diagnosis and more personalised treatment. His work has received multiple innovation awards.
Mr Normahani completed his BSc, MSc (Distinction;Imperial College Dean’s Prize) and PhD at Imperial College London, as well as an MBA from Imperial Business School, supported by the Imperial Excellence Scholarship.
