Professor Padley has a record in imaging research, extending over 30 years resulting in more than 130 peer reviewed publications based on imaging and interventional related subjects. He is a Professor of Practice in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology in the Lung Division for the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College, London.
Personal Biography
Prof. Simon Padley (FRCP, FRCR) studied physiology at King’s College London, he undertook medicine at Westminster Hospital Medical School in 1984. He continued his training in radiology at Addenbrooke’s, Papworth, and Westminster hospitals. From 1991 to 1992, he undertook thoracic imaging fellowship at Vancouver General Hospital, Canada,
Since 1994, Professor Simon Padley has been a consultant radiologist at Royal Brompton, Harefield and Chelsea and Westminster hospitals. In 2015, he was appointed as a director of radiology at Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Foundation Trust.
