Mr Denosshan Sri
Consultant Urologist & Robotic Surgeon
About Denosshan Sri
Mr Denosshan Sri is a Consultant Urological and Robotic Surgeon specialising in prostate and kidney cancer, robotic surgery, benign prostate enlargement (BPH), haematuria investigation, raised PSA assessment, urinary symptoms, recurrent urinary tract infections, and complex upper urinary tract reconstruction. His practice combines efficient diagnostic pathways and minimally invasive treatments with expertise in advanced robotic surgery for more complex conditions.
Mr Sri graduated from the University of Cambridge with Double First Class Honours and Distinction before completing higher surgical training in London. He subsequently completed advanced fellowship training in robotic urology, gaining extensive experience in complex pelvic and upper urinary tract surgery. He was appointed Consultant Urological Surgeon at St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in 2021 and now leads kidney cancer surgery and urological trauma services across the South West London network.
Alongside his NHS practice, Mr Sri has played a leading role in the expansion of robotic surgery services across South West London and serves as Robotic Steering Group Lead at St George’s. He is actively involved in training the next generation of robotic surgeons through an accredited post-CCT fellowship programme and regularly teaches nationally and internationally on minimally invasive and robotic surgical techniques.
At Welbeck, Mr Sri offers comprehensive assessment and modern diagnostic pathways for a broad range of urological conditions, including haematuria, elevated PSA, lower urinary tract symptoms, enlarged prostate, recurrent infections, and men’s health concerns. He performs a high volume of robotic procedures each year, with particular expertise in robotic partial nephrectomy, robotic radical prostatectomy, and complex reconstructive surgery. His practice is centred on delivering highly personalised care, combining advanced surgical technology with excellent cancer and functional outcomes, while maintaining a strong focus on patient experience and recovery.

Frequently asked questions
Yes, but only for certain services. Some consultations, assessments, and treatments can be booked directly, while others require a GP or specialist referral. Please check the relevant service page for guidance, and contact the centre if you’re unsure.
We aim to offer appointments as quickly as possible, and many services have same-day or next-day availability. Waiting times vary depending on the appointment type, specialty, and consultant availability, but our team will always offer the earliest suitable appointment.
Yes. You can arrange an appointment for a family member, or someone you care for, just let us know when you get in touch. We’ll need their details and consent to complete the booking, unless you're their legal guardian or have power of attorney.
Your first consultation includes a detailed discussion of your symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle factors, followed by a thorough examination. It’s helpful if you can bring the results of any previous investigations with you, as well as a list of your current medications. Come with a comfortably full bladder so you can provide a urine sample if requested.
