About Tariq Miskry
Mr Miskry was educated at Epsom College in Surrey, after which he attended Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, University of London. He obtained his medical degree in 1990. Mr Miskry then specialised in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
For 3 years, Mr Miskry took time out of his general training to work with Mr Adam Magos (a pioneer in Minimally Invasive Surgery). Here he was trained in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic (keyhole) surgery, and conducted clinical research. This experience in keyhole surgery was consolidated by a year spent in Sydney, Australia, with particular experience in the management of fertility problems.
Working in London Teaching Hospitals during his training, he gained considerable surgical experience as well as the management of both low and high risk pregnancies.
Alongside his work at OneWelbeck, Mr Tariq Miskry is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, Minimal Access Surgeon at St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington London. He has provided private obstetric and gynaecological care since 2003. He has more than 25 years of experience and hence is one of the senior consultants at St Mary’s. Not only does he work on the labour ward managing complicated pregnancies, Mr Miskry works with outpatient clinics and a number of operating lists. Mr Miskry is also a keen educated, evidenced by his role in both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching including as a preceptor for training in minimal access surgery for the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists.
