Dr Postgate is the endoscopy unit lead for Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He has received multiple awards throughout his career, including the Baldwin Prize for Clinical Medicine, the Bristowe Medal and Beaney Prize for Pathology.

Dr Christopher Groves is a Director of Endoscopic Services at St George’s Hospital. His particular interest is endoscopy including bowel cancer screening and hepatobiliary endoscopy with EUS.

Dr Vlavianos has been focused on the study of liver, biliary and pancreatic diseases, as well as in gastrointestinal haemorrhage and pelvic radiotherapy induced gastrointestinal symptoms.

Professor Sanjay Purkayastha is a Consultant General Surgeon at Welbeck Digestive Health, specialising in bariatric and upper GI surgery, and was one of the first surgeons in the UK to carry out robotic bariatric surgery.

Professor Hemant Kocher is a Consultant General and HPB Surgeon at Welbeck and director of the Cancer Tissue Bank and Pancreas Tissue Bank. He specialises in diseases of the gallbladder and bile duct, liver and pancreas.

Dr Wong is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Welbeck and Guys and St. Thomas’ Hospital. His clinical interests are in gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, pancreaticobiliary endoscopy and hepatology.

Professor Long R Jiao is a well-established hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgeon and is lead surgeon in HPB surgery at Hammersmith and Royal Marsden Hospitals, and an academic professor at Imperial College.

Dr Robert Thomas trained as a physician, developing a particular interest in gastrointestinal medicine. He is a full time NHS Consultant Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist at Imperial College NHS Healthcare Trust.

Dr Tina Mistry is a Consultant Radiologist specialising in gastrointestinal, abdominal and pelvic floor Imaging. She has a keen interest in medical education and its intersection with technology.

Dr Wadsworth is the Clinical Director of Specialist Medicine at Hammersmith Hospital, and honorary senior lecturer at Imperial College London. His research includes developing new technologies to improve the endoscopic imaging of GI disease.
