Frequently asked questions

Absolutely. Our consultants work with specialised physiotherapists across the country. Where appropriate, they’ll recommend and refer you for treatment to support ongoing care and rehabilitation.

Any diagnostic tests needed will be decided by your consultant during a consultation. These may include imaging tests, such as X-ray, CT scan, or MRI scan, blood tests, or more complex tests such as a lumbar puncture. All tests are done in the same building as consultations for maximum convenience and efficiency.

We accept both self-referring and referred patients for initial consultations. However, if you’d like to use private health insurance to pay for care, you may need to have a referral before booking for your consultation and any tests or treatment to be covered. Please check with your provider before arranging any appointments.

Yes. Our consultants can prescribe pain relief, with our in-house pharmacy able to dispense medications on the same day as your consultation in most cases. Where required, our spine consultants can also deliver pain treatments or refer to their pain medicine colleagues for specialised care when needed.
